It's finally here!!!

O.K. I confess, I have been stalking my email on and off all day and I finally have my partner for Mommy Holly's Amy Butler Apron Swap. I have been drueling over all of the beautiful fabric waiting for my partner info so I can pick just the right one for their apron. Now the fun part starts. I hope they like it!!! ttfn, Kelly

New apron patterns!!!

I have been collecting new and new to me apron patterns in anticipation of the first apron swap I am participating in. Thanks to ebay and a pattern sale at Joanns I am all ready to go. I can't wait to buy the fabric and get started. I am anxiously awaiting my partner so that I can get a feel for their likes and dislikes before I get started. I am so excited. I have joined my first apon swap. I have been sewing for years for family and friends but this is a little intimidating. I will have to swap aprons with a total stranger!!! I hope my partner is not disappointed! I am also new to this whole blog thing. 2009 is going to be a year of pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. A year of new experiences and learning. If I could only figure out how to create a button/badge for the swap? ttfn Kelly

This is the first post on my new blog. I have been following several blogs for awhile now and thought why not start one myself. I have joined several stamping and sewing swaps and this will be a good way to showcase my work and keep in touch with my fellow swappers.
